In two separate cases, Gary Jansen defended law firms sued for legal malpractice arising out of excess verdicts. The attorneys failed to counsel their clients regarding the possibility of a verdict in excess of their policy limits, and committed certain errors in the defense and trial of the cases. In both cases, Gary was successful in obtaining dismissals of the legal malpractice actions for minimal or no payment toward settlement.
