Gary Jansen’s practice covers a broad spectrum of Tort Litigation including Professional Liability, Product Liability, Insurance Coverage, Toxic Torts, Construction Litigation, Premises Liability, Appellate Law, and International Law. Gary has broad experience in Professional Liability matters, particularly legal malpractice cases. He also has extensive experience in the area of Insurance Coverage, including declaratory judgment actions. Gary has represented numerous excess and surplus lines insurers with regard to Insurance Coverage matters in Illinois.

A graduate of Northern Illinois University (B.S., summa cum laude, 1981) and DePaul University College of Law (J.D., 1984), Gary was admitted to the bar in 1984, to the Illinois and United States District Court for the Northern District of Illinois, the United States Court of Appeals for the Seventh Circuit and the United States District Court for the Northern District of Indiana. He has spoken at seminars and authored several articles, including a front-page lead article in the Illinois Bar Journal. He is a member of the Defense Research Institute, the Illinois Association of Defense Trial Counsel, the Illinois State Bar Association and the Chicago Bar Association.
